Eric Franz, Esq.

Eric Franz is Counsel to the firm. Although known primarily for his representation of criminal defendants, Mr. Franz has achieved notable success in civil litigation as well.

An accomplished practitioner in both the federal and state systems, Mr. Franz has appeared in numerous high-profile prosecutions. His clientele includes individuals who have stood accused of alleged participation in organized crime, RICO enterprises, money laundering activities, and mail and wire fraud. A former public defender, Mr. Franz is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. 

In the civil arena, Mr. Franz earned notoriety for successfully negotiating a six-figure settlement against actor Russell Crowe in a case which drew international media coverage.

Mr. Franz has been a frequent guest lecturer on criminal law topics and has been quoted in widely-circulated publications including New York Magazine, the New York Post and the New York Daily News.

An alumnus of the Fordham University School of Law, Mr. Franz earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan. He is licensed to practice before the New York courts, and is admitted to the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
